Update on Sister Church in Haiti February 2026

We've gotten a few updates from Pastor Calixte, the elders and members of our sister church in Picot, Haiti! We are excited to share God's provision through Trinity Bible Church and its members who continue to care for our brothers and sisters there.

1. Food Provision

Last year, we sent a contribution for food to feed families in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. In December, they were able to distribute bags of rice and beans and containers of oil to help sustain some of the families in Picot.  Watch the videos of our sister church receiving the food and greetings from one of their members.

2. Church Reconstruction & Benches

Last year, we also sent a large contribution to pay for materials to help complete the rebuilding of the church and school after the earthquake of 2021. The church now has a roof, they are starting the making of the doors and windows, and the building of the pews/benches for the church was completed in January!

The Church and the school are doing well, and they will be holding an inauguration service this Thursday, February 26 inside the church building with the benches that have been built. After the earthquake’s destruction of the school and the church, this moment is a powerful testimony of God’s blessing and restoration. Our brothers and sisters in Picot believe that we are celebrating this blessing with them in spirit and heart, even from far.

We are excited to announce that we have team from Trinity heading to Haiti in October! It will be a great reunion after our being apart these last few years!
