This is an 8-week study with videos (approximately 30 Minutes) by the author, Jennifer Rothschild. The study has 4 days of homework, which will be discussed in class, and a 5th day for personal reflection. Whether you’re have done lots of studies or this is your 1st, you will enjoy studying God’s Word and the fellowship each Thursday!
The study is on the book of Amos, which is the 3rd of the 12 Minor prophets in the Old Testament. Amos is often called a prophet of doom. And when you begin to read his prophecy, it doesn’t take long to realize that nickname fits. But, we will dig deep and discover truths that point us to "seek God and Live” (Amos 5:4). Amos is promoting the God life, and, the God life is the good life! Each week we will see an invitation. You’ll be invited to live assured, live faithful, live chosen, live humble, live justly, live prayerful, and live hopeful. Come join us in this study and be amazed at how God’s Word is so alive, so relevant to our daily walk and will so change us!
