Resilience is a powerful, award-winning documentary exploring the science behind how early adversity can shape lifelong health and prosperity. Through compelling stories and groundbreaking research, Resilience reveals how toxic stress caused by abuse and neglect in childhood can increase risks for disease, addiction, incarceration, and even early death. Yet this film also highlights a growing movement working to turn the tide using innovative strategies to protect children and foster healing, hope, and lasting change. The Church can help be that change and love our children well. Join us as we learn and discuss ways to do so.
