Jesus in His great sermon on the side of a mountain goes beyond the Law given by God to Israel. The Law is a set of rules and regulations to guide people in their relationships with God and others.
Jesus’ sermon focuses on the traits and qualities of true believers and the blessings God is prepared to give to everyone who observes them while on earth.
