Growing Together in Christ
Growth Groups are where we practice the one anothers of Scripture — digging into God's Word, praying for each other, and growing through accountability and replication, week in and week out
OUR MISSION
TBC Growth Groups exist to cultivate Spiritual Growth in our members by practicing the one anothers of Scripture weekly through Spiritual Disciplines like Prayer and Bible Devotion, and Accountability — so that little by little we are transformed into the image of Jesus. Growth Groups also value Replication: raising up leaders who can start new groups.
Growth Groups are made up of 10-12 people who meet weekly in various homes throughout the greater Lafayette area. The typical meeting lasts about two hours and includes visiting over snacks, sharing, biblical discussion, and prayer.

WEEKLY
Every week we will provide a Church-wide reading plan, with background information and discussion questions.
Growth Groups should be a place where we grow — digging into God's Word, praying for one another, holding one another accountable, and replicating leaders who start new groups.
Committing to being in the Word daily — observing, interpreting, applying, and responding to Scripture.
Coming together to ask, confess, and thank the Lord — and praying for group members throughout the week.
Holding one another accountable to find healing in God's Word, fight sin, and discover our unique calling.
Raising up leaders to start new groups — becoming disciples who make disciples in our circles of influence.
Our desire is to have a church of triple threats — standing firm against the enemy in the kingdom of God. Growth Groups are where the Bonding happens, alongside Bowing in regular Sunday worship and Building His Kingdom through ministry and missions.
Growth Groups work because members show up for one another.
Here's what that looks like in practice.
I will be as open with my life as I can be.
Regularly attending group is a priority — and communicating when it's necessary to miss.
Anything said in the group stays in the group.
We create space to confess honestly and repent together.
I will serve others with my group, and we will be a light to the community.
I will care for group members' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Our group will have time and space for fun, joy, and laughter.
